Gophers' Selection Sunday "Magic Number" Is 21

Crazy. The Gophers pick up another Big Boy Pants win, their second. It’s the 50/50 balls doing them in. Now kick Maryland’s a*s, move another step closer to a College Basketball Crown invite.

Feb. 4 College Hoops Summit: Tommies Face Pivotal Tilt vs. Summit League Bell Cow South Dakota State

Just like Vermillion, it's time to finally win in Brookings. Would like to see Oosterbaan and/or IJA get going a little more. They're more than capable. Maybe tonight's the night. Don't let Sayler get on a heater and they'll win.

"KenPom is bull***t" Sit back an enjoy this four minute dialogue from Doug Gottlieb on the KenPom rankings. (mentions St. Thomas, Minnesota)

I'm in the minority, but I like Gottlieb. Glad to see Green Bay is showing significant progress in his second season. Pretty sure the Tommies still have 2 or 3 years left on a 4-game contract with GB. Good series for both programs, Midwest, similar leagues, etc.

Week 14 Field of 68 Projection: Slim At-Large Pickings Seem Imminent for Selection Committee

ROAD TO SELECTION SUNDAY, MN -- As we begin college basketball’s penultimate month, the Field of 68 at-large pool is trimming down to the bones. There just aren’t enough teams worthy of NCAA Tournament consideration, yet the NCAA is likely to expand the field to 76 teams for the 2026-27 season...

Feb. 1 College Hoops Summit: Tommies get national TV appearance today vs. struggling Kansas City

"Bad" doesn't do Kansas City justice. They were awful. There can't be a handful of teams worse than them, could there? They looked like they're ready to go on spring vacation.

Jan. 29 College Hoops Summit: Last team (North Dakota) to beat St. Thomas in Saint Paul eyes ending Tommies' nation-best home winning streak

Have to be honest, the Summit has been tougher than I anticipated. There are more decent to good teams than I thought there'd be. If the right teams win, the Summit semifinals have a chance to be hellacious. Feel crazy for saying this, but currently sixth-place South Dakota State is still the...

Jan. 29 College Hoops Summit: Last team (North Dakota) to beat St. Thomas in Saint Paul eyes ending Tommies' nation-best home winning streak

Nick’s 3 attempt after an offensive board up 3 with under a minute to go not the best decision. And Herro, who’s improving with every game, would probably like back that pass in too much traffic. That one really hurt. Need to find ways to get Bjerke more shots. He’s their X factor, I think. He...
