Sperry was great. Really locked down the Hatters lineup and stabilized the game after every inning was back and forth. Fielding was in Gophers favor too. Other than an overthrow by Selvig on first play of the game it was clean. Stetson made a couple of really bad errors that led to big innings...

I toured NDSU and SDSU with my daughter a few years ago. Was not impressed in the least with NDSU's campus. It was very crammed together and not a lot of open space. The buildings were right on top of one another. I thought the SDSU campus was laid out much better. Lots of room to breathe...

Impossible to go back and say what games were won/lost with kicking. But what I'm certain of is that our lack of a FG kicking threat beyond 40 yards greatly impacted our offensive philosophy and flexibility when we got into that area between the 30-45 yard lines.
