The way it's been so hard to get ranked despite winning 6 Big Ten games in a row as of last week, I'm kind of pessimistic the committee would select us to host. It just feels like the conventional wisdom is "the Gophers are worse than they look". I really hope we're ranked come tomorrow...

Eh, scoring 28 points in the 2nd quarter was the most against any Big Ten opponent this season. A 23 point win is not "ugly".

I've heard Coach P say multiple times now that her favorite basketball player has long been Magic Johnson. She says it's not just because he was a great player but that he always played with a smile on his face, and that's what she wants her players to remember. Great philosophy.

Great win! I'm now updating my "cautiously optimistic" prediction to say they could possibly finish 13-5 in the Big Ten. That was definitely the hardest game we had left and I had baked in a loss!

I've actually noticed her commenting in agreement with the refs multiple times when Iowa got ticky-tack fouls. She seems to be trying to be fair to both sides.

Yeah, Charlie Creme is usually one of the more accurate people to do bracketology. Last year, I think we were the team ranked highest in the NET to not make the tournament. But last year we also had no quad 1 wins, and so far we've got two this year.

They also shot a season high 60.3% from the field today. That's the highest in any Gopher game since 2013! Neither Penn State nor Purdue are great teams, but the Gophers are cooking some good stuff when you look at the stats under the hood.
