Another note: It was nice to see the band out in full force and they actually let the band perform a lot instead using canned music. Much better atmosphere for a college game.

Don't think I have ever seen a team held to 2 points in the 4th quarter. And MN did it essentially with starters sitting for most of it. Seemed like Coach wanted Braun to score 20+ points, left her out there until she did (last starter out). Again, our worst quarter was the 3rd. Hopefully...

Attendance, 10,869. Coach grabbed microphone and urged fans to return, even those wearing blue and white. Without looking it up, I suspect it is the largest crowd since the first game when Lindsay was named head coach. However, the revenue from this game might have been higher?

I was really hoping Battle could get one more assist for double/double. Heyer did get a double/double. Holloway really showed her leaping ability, especially when intercepted the pass and took for a basket. She caused NDSU a lot of trouble. Glad to see Braun return with "only" a large bandaid.

If memory serves me correctly, after Oldfield left the U for Maryland, Lindsay was reported to have been in touch with incoming recruits and team members encouraging them to come/stay. Perhaps Braun and Heyer will do the same (unless it isn't allowed under current rules).
