Talent and age wise, this is a reload /rebuild year. I'm pretty pleased they may end up 6-9 wins. I am puzzled by the offensive game plan today. On a few plays it looked like deep routes were open.

I agree, with the exception of Daniel Jackson. I thought he was an excellent college WR who got better every year, ran exceptional routes, and caught almost everything. I am actually slightly postively surprised at the new WR group post Spencer and Jones.

I'm surprised by this because it looked like the secondary was spaced out and the Cal QB was throwing to receivers who often didn't have a Gopher dback within 5 feet. It was the worst pass defense I have seen in the Fleck and Kill era.

Collins the new DC decided to use a soft zone against a good qb and he never adjusted. SDSU’s corners played physcial man and to me that was the difference. Last year’s team had two really good corners.
