Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

Just got back from Oregon and was going to post something similar. It was by far the best football production-show I’ve seen live and the fans were really into it. And quite a few Gopher fans made the big screen cam shots.

It might get confusing for the QBs when all helmets are white.

Two Schools Are Reportedly Considering Leaving The Big Ten

I whole heartedly agree that the last 2 commissioners have been suspect. In fact, I think Warren was mediocre and Petitti is much worse. What both of these guys have in common is they are products of professional sports. Warren NFL and Petitti MLB. The 2 previous B1G commissioners (Wayne Duke...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MISSOURI IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yup, and we’ve had some break the zone, but we’re not passing in to them. Get that pass in, the zone collapses and then there are options.

What about Mike Shula? Might get him on the cheap after recently being fired.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

How parochial of you. The Seahawks struggled for decades until they caught lightning in a bottle with the team Carroll put together. They were very good for a few years and then the rebuild took a while, and now with the Vikings’ outcast Darnold helming the team, they are doing very well. The...

    Jett Walker flips to MN

In today’s landscape, I think there are four reasons high level players choose a school (order depends on a recruit’s needs): 1. Coaching - They want to get better to get drafted. 2. NIL - money is huge. 3. Winning team - The best want a shot at a championship. 4. Facilities - No dumps for the...

All Things P.J. Fleck Rumor Mill Thread - Listed as Candidate for Other Jobs

I remember that too, and think it was a few hundred thousand, but not enough to pay a coordinator north of 1.5 million.

All Things P.J. Fleck Rumor Mill Thread - Listed as Candidate for Other Jobs

Are you saying the Gophers had enough funds to match Heatherman’s offer from Miami? Or had enough to attract a proven DC instead of promoting Collins, who never had any coordinator experience? I think they could have matched Rossi’s with an extra $300k, but Heatherman was out of range for the...

All Things P.J. Fleck Rumor Mill Thread - Listed as Candidate for Other Jobs

Are you saying PJ doesn’t hire more experienced coordinators so he can have more control over the team? If so, I don’t see it that way. I think he doesn’t hire them because he has a restricted budget for paying coaches. I don’t know if it’s the magic number, but an extra million dollars for the...

    Big 10 Pay-to-View only?

When I started streaming YouTube TV it was $42 month and included ESPN and Fox Sports. Now it’s about $80 with the 4k upgrade and they’ve added at least 40 channels that I will never watch. And ESPN is missing today. Might have to go ala carte month to month everything and only subscribe for...

    FIRE GREG HARBAUGH

Good observations, especially on Drake prematurely feeling pressured to check down. A few times he never saw a wide open receiver because he had already abandoned the progression.

    FIRE GREG HARBAUGH

I agree Drake checks down to the short throw too often, but it also comes from receivers not getting open, which is most of the time.
