I don't disagree. But the Championship is an extra game. One that Notre Dame didn't have to play. I find it hard to hold that against Alabama. To add to that.....it sounds as though they had quite a few guys out due to injury. So they will probably return a couple of guys for the playoff...

I hate sticking up for an SEC team.....but I don't think it's fair to count the Championship loss towards this. Especially when the alternative is a Notre Dame team whose best win is USC.

I'm not as irritated as in years past.....mostly because I think we've had better teams snubbed. But you'd like to think we'd get the benefit of the doubt every once in a while. But again.....an Iowa State matchup would be a really good result, imo.
