I don't see how Nebraska makes the game competitive unless Utah sees a bunch of opt outs. I mean....they'd likely have handled the Gophers too....but I have little doubt that we'd make that a more competitive game.

It was a poor attempt to discount bowl games by saying that the KSU/ISU game in Dublin was a more meaningful game. An opinion aimed aimed towards me despite the fact that I never said otherwise.

It wasn't an argument with anyone other than yourself, since nobody was arguing that the ISU/KSU game in Dublin was less important than a middling bowl game. It was just a lame attempt to discount bowl season by hacking away at a strawman of your own making.

What's the last decent bowl matchup that we've gotten? Outback bowl six years ago? Somehow it always works out that the Gophers get bumped to a less desirable bowl.....against a worse opponent. Meanwhile Nebraska is playing #15 Utah in Vegas.

That's subjective. Lots of people can't justify a trip to Dublin for a football game. Second.....I'd argue that there are fans that may be more likely to make a trip over winter break when it's cold......to a place like Arizona. But once again....there was never a situation in which these...
