Correct, it was. As another poster stated, he was defending the Barn by comparing it to Phog and Cameron as older buildings that lack modern amenities, but are electric on game day with a big crowd.

That's not how I took it, don't think it was a jab. Came across to me like Niko was comparing the Barn to Cameron and the Phog, with all 3 being old buildings that lack modern amenities.

Fran had an over .500 Big Ten record, and took Iowa to 7 tourneys in 15 seasons (likely would've been 8 if not for COVID). Also won the BTT in 2022. His major blemish is never taking them to the 2nd weekend of the tourney, but he had a really nice run there.

Tubby had a much better tenure than Pitino did here, and that isn't really arguable. And they both played at a snail's pace. Pitino came in here talking about pressing and playing up tempo...that lasted about 2 months.
