I really enjoyed watching that. Did I see right that in the third quarter, Minnesota was at 3rd and 22 after a holding penalty. They lined up in a shotgun formation but direct snapped to a back who then punted the ball. I've seen a lot of football, but I don't recall ever seeing a punt on 3rd down.

I guess it's closer to his home than Minnesota. But I was curious, so I checked and UC Davis is a 7+ hour drive from his hometown. It's closer to go to Chicago from Minneapolis. So it's not like he will be going home for a home cooked meal and to do laundry on weekends.

Now that Indiana has done the impossible, how long do we have to wait before they turn from the little engine that could to an example of everything that is wrong with college football? ;)

I don't think Michigan boosters and fans want a coach that runs a life program. They want one who runs a football program. But nothing would shock me in today's college football world.

In my dream scenario, Lake Kiffin hasn't yet officially signed his contract with LSU. Michigan hires DeBoer and Kiffin goes to Alabama. The meltdown at LSU would be incredibly entertaining.

They were definitely there. The last time the Gophers played in Phoenix was against West Virginia. West Virginia brought a smaller, subset of their band made up of just upper classmen if I remember correctly.

FYI, looking on the Google shows that last year's Big 10 schedule was released on December 10th. So hopefully we will know the exact dates and order of opponents in the next week or so.

We bought a group of eight seats in 212 which is basically the equivalent of being in the student section at Huntington. But looking at the number of tickets currently available, we may not stay in those seats for long. I wouldn't be surprised if we move to be closer to other Minnesota fans at...
