I’m considering bidding wars to be battles between multiple equal or higher level schools. I don’t think you run into that with every transfer.

You can get legitimate starters, but we aren’t winning bidding wars for 6-10 guys. Henderson was not a highly fought over transfer for example.

Yeah this is it. He’s done awesome at evaluating high school talent as well as navigating the portal. I think one thing he seems to do is he finds talent that is somewhat held back by being on bad teams, I imagine he is able to stretch NIL funds this way. Mendoza and Coogan were highly rated...

Of course you don’t, it makes it harder to blame the coaches for everything when you have to look at the realities of the challenges here.
