    Early Mock Draft - Gophers

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mock-draft/ Amazed that 4 drafts don't have Ersery in the 1st round and the one that does has him going #13 to Miami. I have a hard time believing with the proven work ethic, athletic abilities and growth in his game that he does not go towards the end of...

Badgers lose their starting left tackle for the year

I feel as bad for the Badger as they felt when Bret made Brewster his *itch.

    Utah to B1G?

Just read somewhere that the average Utah family has more buying power than anywhere else in the US - high wages compared to cost of living. I would think Utah would be a throw in with someone else (BYU?, Colorado? or Stanford?). This only makes sense if it helps bring in a reasonable partner.

Hold out!! Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava did not attend Tennessee spring practice today. He’s been in conversations with Tennessee about a new contract.

After the dad and kid get a ton of backlash from how they handled this and lose out on tons of money, what the kid will need is a "life program." A place that can develop him into a man where he can compete for a starting spot. No million dollar contracts, but a place where he can mature as...

Shooter: Gophers' NIL budget this season —lowest in the Big Ten — was in the $700,000 range, of which Dawson Garcia got $500,000.

I don't understand how people can give BEN a pass on NIL. We are low in NIL because he couldn't cast a vision with the players and the business leaders in the community of building a dominant MBB program with MN born or raised players. The coach needs to be the programs biggest vision...

    𝑷𝑹𝑬𝑭𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑨𝑰𝑵𝑬 𝑷𝑨𝑪𝑬 with @jackson_kollock 〽️

Kid probably has already become a huge Vikings fan and just wants to know if Rodgers is waiting to sign with the Vikes in the summer similar to the move Favre pulled.

    B1G O/U prediction by Fornelli

Surprised to see NE with the over considering the win total they were give was high already. WI, IA and MI were each given respectable win totals but not outrageous, to give them the under is a bold move is bound to get feedback.

I'm probably in the minority, but Tom Izzo

This is only because his opponent only focused on defense because they thought they had the game won going in. No one who plays Izzo underestimates his team or his ability.

We have another HUGE commit, Gavin Meier, tackle

PJ Fleck has shown that his program works for developing young men that make an impact in playing football (NFL players every year and winning) and developing leaders (look at PJ's coaching tree). Iowa become Iowa because it gave kids on the fridge of greatness a program that could develop...

Three-star Minnesota signee Jacob Ross has requested his release from his National Letter of Intent and will reopen his recruitment

I could see a coach having an honest conversation saying "I am going to try to bring in a transfer or two to play your position and even possibly a recruit or two. I am not saying you will not play, but I want you to know if you stay you are going to have to compete for the starting job and...

Athlon Sports: Ranking 136 FBS Teams (Minnesota No. 43)

Swap Nebraska and MN and that makes it closer -- or bump IA up to NE, MN to where IA is and NE to where MN is and the top half looks right. WI should be closer to UCLA than Rutgers - with that schedule they will be lucky to win 5 games and a good chance they won't look good doing that.

    Fickell... Extended???

I had no idea how stuck with Fickell that Wisconsin is. If they let go of Fickell - they are on the hook for 80% of his contract. The $8 million buyout is if someone else comes along and/r...

SEC, Big Ten to push for seeding changes to 2025 College Football Playoff

I think what the SEC and B1G are doing is genius. If they can make it so the top team get a bye that team 3 and 4 our guaranteed to get in, then championship takes on a completely different look. Imagine for B1G: #1Penn State vs. #2Oregon = playing for the bye in the CFP #3Ohio State vs...

    Fickell... Extended???

It would not surprise me if it increased the buyout for next year in order to make the payouts for the contract nominal for the remainder. I am guessing with a terrible year in 2024, a not so great offseason, and an impossible schedule it is making it impossible to recruit. The contract is...

What's Your Favorite College Football Stadium?

The Bank only ranks in top 10 due to we built a brand new stadium vs all the rest were add on-site to existing stadiums or were built long ago.

Max Brosmer invited to NFL Combine

In those years they did several more rounds of draft picks. In todays draft those classes would have only had 2 drafted. Makes what Fleck is doing even more impressive, historically.

Daniel Jackson invited to NFL combine

The combine is perfect for Jackson. NFL teams don't need to watch much tape to know he has elite potential for route running and hands. he just needs to show he has good enough athletism. No one is thinking they are getting a burner with Jackson.

Max Brosmer invited to NFL Combine

Great to see a Minnesota QB get invite to the Combine as a QB. Excite for this to be the start of MN QB's going from college to the NFL. Let the pipeline begin.
