This is no diss on Garcia who was great for us, but in retrospect I wish they would have paid Payne as opposed to Garcia. Payne would look really, really good on this squad right now.

I don't fault Ben for standing by Parker- I fault him for not recruiting anyone better than him. Parker was easily in our top 8 guys each year, despite all of his limitations. If Fox would have become our 11th option- great.

Tough second half but I am VERY optimistic about the future of the program. We ran into a talented team that got red hot in the second half. 60%FG and 50% on 3s is hard to contend with against a good team. We broke a little for about 3-5 minutes there and they made everything in that stretch...

We need Omot back for some added athleticism. Missouri shot amazing but they had easily the better athletes as well. Missouri looks darn good

We are getting the open looks- just not hitting. 3-15 on threes. Shoot better in the 2nd and we can win. Defense has been solid.

Medved playing depth- Shinholster, Grove, both getting a little run- 9 deep without Omot.

Win or lose- this looks like real basketball. We are aggressive, not scared and we know what we are doing. Love it.
