In my opinion, the smaller UW schools should choose to offer scholarships (to their rosters largely made up of Wisconsin high school student athletes, whose families have paid Wisconsin state taxes for their entire lives).

There are plenty of other 3rd tier public schools in that state, like VCU. Or in neighboring states. WV, NC St, UDel, etc.

Agree, 10 is the limit for a 12 game cap because 10 is 5 home games per year and then you do two guaranteed games. How it should be, honestly, for a 12 game cap. 5/5 consistency each year, plus two should be wins against non-P4 teams. (Would ban playing FCS teams as well)

The TV channels and TV distributors (cable/sat and streaming companies) that make big profits on broadcasting these games into peoples homes do get taxed, but there should absolutely be taxes collected on the rest of the big revenues of big time college athletics.
