How many 5- star players are there every year, 30-35? Lets say 3-5 of those players go to 4 teams, now theres only 15-20 players left. They want to go to blue boold schools, because of the 4 factors listed above. I think playing in the playoffs is a big factor too, national TV exposure.

I'd say its more about inconsistance, on all 3 parts of the team. But that's what you get with a young team, not a lot of experience.
