Does it really matter? Gophers will likely be the underdog in nearly every B1G game they play this season. The kids should just come out and play loose with not a care in the world. No one expects them to win so they just need to have fun.

If this were D1, I would say yes. This is either D3 or NAIA level with neither team having any national championship aspirations. Every player knows what is happening and gets out of the way. So, it is reckless and stupid, but that's part of the fun of this event.
