I dunno. I was actually thinking the other day that it seems like the gap at the very top is the same as always. OSU and Oregon seem head and shoulders above everyone else in the B1G, just like OSU and Mich were last year. Texas seems at another level in the SEC, much like they were in the...
Johnson was one of the surprises of Rams camp and got called out by McVay multiple times. Had a really nice week 1 and a decent week 2. I really thought he’d grab a big role with both Puka and Kupp out, but that never materialized for whatever reason. Still grabbing an NFL paycheck though, so...
I had to look up the FIrst Responder’s Bowl since I’m seeing so many projections. It used to be called Heart of Dallas bowl and was affiliated with the B1G. It’s now played at SMU and will be held on 1/3/25. B1G affiliation went away before the most recent contract an last year Texas St...
Did he ask the ref if he was on the line? That’s typically how it goes — turn to the ref, signal you intend to be on the LOS, and you get a yes or no. If he didn’t and was 1.5 yards off, then it absolutely should’ve been a penalty.
It was a super disappointing season, and I think Fleck deserves some of the blame…and I won’t begrudge you for assigning him more than I (or others) do. But in retrospect, it’s tough to win games with a pretty awful QB and your top offensive player hurt much of the B1G season. Plus the defense...
Absolute STUD and has been for a while. I agree with Noel that Jah gets held a TON but still has multiple big pressures per game. He’s definitely going to be drawing an NFL check a year from now. Edge players are just so valuable at that level. Let’s enjoy these last 6-7 games with him!
He’s not a very good zone RB. He’s a super explosive athlete who hits a hole if it exists, but I just haven’t seen the ability to read interior blocking.
Frustrating series of events at the end of the half obviously. Taylor so irresponsible not having two hands on the ball and not knowing when to go down. Blatant hold in front of the head official that isn’t called. Their kicker nails a career long 54 yarder into a swirling wind. Argh.
But hey...
I mean I got what they were doing trying to get one first down so USC wouldn’t get the ball back. But then unfortuantely they got the ball back in another way. But yeah I would’ve liked them to go tempo like most of us and just let Brosmer cook.
The 3rd down conversion was frustrating because it was a horrible spot and there was a missed tackle behind the line, but the story of that drive is USC gashed MN on the ground. If they can keep any semblance of a run game going, MN is screwed with Moss throwing it.
They think they can run the ball on USCs statistically not great rush defense. I really hope they adjust quickly and go tempo like everyone has been calling for if the run game falters.
