Couldn’t agree more. I think a ham award is more appropriate for a person that exemplifies hard work, integrity and sincerity. Ya know, those traits in people we love but the a-hoos in the media large ignore because it doesn’t feed our Machiavellian culture like, Musk, Bezos, Harbaugh, Trump, etc.

There has been private funding for academics for 100+ years. What do you think colleges do w endowments and where does money come from for all those buildings and science wings - donations from the wealthy vanity crowd. This to me sounds like professors concerned about their paychecks...

This year is done, yes a disappointment for W/Ls. Hopefully the disappointment lights a fire under Fleck to correct. He needs at least a 7 win season next year. To do that he needs better coaching and more consistency from players - both are on him.

Too early to say what this means past this year. Fleck has had some good years here, I’m going to reserve more critical judge for another year. If Fleck n team don’t improve next year I’ll be really bummed for Gopher football
