As a RS FR in 2024 , Phillip Daniels played in all 12 games for the Gophers. He started in three. That is a lot of playing time for a RS FR O-Lineman. Do you even watch the Gophers?

He started all season at right tackle for tOSU. I think OL would have been a totally different story for the Gophers this past season if he had stayed. We developed him; Ohio State snatched him (although Ohio is Daniels' home state, which probably was a factor).

I wish the Gophers could have been in a more prestigious bowl. But Phoenix in December, with plenty of Gopher fans in residence, is a good place to play, assuming the playing field isn't a sloppy and dangerous mess, like the last time the Gophs played there. But, I really do like this match up...

Sieh Bangura, a stud in MAC play, transferred from Ohio in the MAC and never got playing time on the 2024 Gopher squad (behind transfers Majors, Mangham, et al). So he transferred back to Ohio for the 2026 season. Turns out he led the MAC in rushing again, with over 1200 yards.

Maybe F Washington or Ford are going to pass Fame? Besides AJ Turner getting healthy, next year's lineup could (depending on transfers) have RS F Washington and/or Ford playing real minutes. Washington looked pretty decent in spot duty in his true FR year. We've also got a couple of really good...

At this point (12/10), the Gophers are losing/shedding 10 receivers from this year's team: 6 WRs and 4 TEs. A real opportunity to reshape the passing game assets. Also appears to be a great time for the UMD TE to transfer in, if he is interested. He could take and very well possibly upgrade...

Gophers open up as 3.5 point favorites. At least in Vegas’s eyes, NM is a plenty worthy adversary. Gophs haven’t won a game on the road this year. Last chance to salvage a win away from Huntington. Go Gophers!
