Agree but if Blaise joins JMS and Ruschmeyer coming back, and we get a quality DT and SDE transfer then I think I'd put us #1. A few things have to happen and we'll have to see how the portal turns out but I think its' possible we could be preseason favorites depending how the next few weeks go.

I think Johnson is a good player and a nice get for them but with us only taking one RB this cycle and already having Evans committed, we didn’t have room for Johnson.

Cockran was as well. And the other two did most of their development under Kill’s staff.

I thought they were alright with Hageman, Botticelli, Cockran, and Richardson and those guys. Certainly not our best unit but not a glaring weakness either.

I thought he redshirted, interesting. Weird to think a guy like him or Howden would normally be done after this year. Feels like they haven't been in the program for that long. I'd still say though that I'd just assume they are all back unless proven otherwise if they are only 4th years...

He's only a RS junior this year in his 4th year and would be able to come back even without the free covid year. He's just a guy you assume is coming back like any other player on the roster that has eligibility for next year, like Rush, Oliver, Spann-Ford etc.

Zero chance Irving redshirts. He is too dynamic and fulfills a role that the others don’t. He will get plenty of snaps next year.

He was never projected to start this year. MDT, Carter and Schad were always suppose to play before him.

Most of those guys are DE, not DT. Eastern, McCoy, Schuster and Richter would be his only competition. He definitely would have had the first crack to start alongside Carter. They’ll definitely have to snag a transfer DT now if they weren’t going to before.

Objectively speaking, they have looked better then OSU so far. May not be the case in November but right now I’d take Michigan if they played tomorrow.
