    Tre' Williams enters the Portal

Sad state of affairs when we're considering a 6 ppg (40% fg, 32% 3pt, 31% FT) player a big loss. It's time to clean house. I'd be surprised if Johnson didn't advise some of these departures, as most incoming coaches do when they're analyzing the returning roster.

In two years or three years we're going to be sick Coyle didn't hire Smith

Good to see the frustration that perhaps the hire was made because Johnson was black. And if that's the case, even better. Now you realize what most black coaches have felt for years, when they see their unqualified, mediocre, retreaded white counterparts get similar opportunities. Glad it makes...

    GOPHERS HIRING BEN JOHNSON

Keyboard warriors coming out the woodworks. Gonna save this thread for when he lands a top 10 recruiting class nationally within the next 3 years.

Jamal Mashburn Jr. has entered the transfer portal, sources told ESPN.

Disappointed but not surprised at all. Thought he would've taken a big leap next year. But relationships really do matter at this level of hoops. Best of luck to him and hope he finds a great fit.

Souhan: As for Pitino, Gophers fans should stop treating him like he ruined the program. Don't blame him. Blame Teague

Unless Auriemma was going to be coaching the Lady Gophs, Bueckers was never coming.

Hey! Look at who is back in the transfer portal and who else just entered it

I don't see more than half of this group staying. Plus new staff will likely urge one or two to leave as well.

Bateman opting out of 2020 Football Season

Could definitely see Morgan opting out given the health issues his father has had in the past.

Bateman opting out of 2020 Football Season

Huge blow, but I think we're much better positioned to handle a loss like this than in years past. Honestly, it'll give some of the young guys an opportunity to step up in somewhat of "lost" season in preparation for a regular return to normal in 2021. Looking forward to seeing what CAB...

All Things Eli King recruitment thread (Class of 2022, Gophers Have Offered)

If I'm not mistaken, Suggs would've chosen Minnesota if he decided to go the football route.

All Things Eli King recruitment thread (Class of 2022, Gophers Have Offered)

I honestly like King better than Holloman. Looks to be bigger, stronger and a much better shooter. Can play both guard spots. Excited to see both kids develop over the next few years. Hopefully we'll get a CDH/Caledonia matchup at some point.

Sam Jackson decommits from Gophers again - going to Purdue

The depth we have at QB didn't really bode well for him getting on the field anytime soon, if at all. Not a terrible loss IMO. I saw "Four Star Decommit" and was really hoping it wasn't one of the DBs or the RB from Illinois. With that being said, it will be unusually tough keeping kids on...

    Greenlee enters portal

Experience isnt a substitute for lack of talent. There's a reason his offer list was what it was and c why he was signed so late in the game.

All Things Kerwin Walton Recruitment Thread (Class of 2020)

Would be fitting that he announces that he's going to UNC right before tonight's Last Dance episodes. The ultimate gut punch.

Seen Mahlman show up a few times in this thread recently. Is there any indication we could flip from Wisky?

Gophers Recruiting CB Avante Dickerson Again Now That He's In Portal

Signing day can't get here soon enough. Still going to be a battle until the end to keep these kids on board.

There goes the open scholarship everyone was so concerned about.

I really do want to be excited but I feel like this will be a battle up until signing day regardless of who he chooses tonight.

All Things Kerwin Walton Recruitment Thread (Class of 2020)

I'm holding out for Walton as long as I can over a few kids who couldn't even dominate at the mid major level. Name the last Hopkins standout who didn't pan out at the D1 level? These kids are ready to go from day 1 and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Walton was a double figure scorer and one...
