I am not a scout by any means but the few times I have seen Vanek play he doesn't strike me as a high end college player - that said some pro scouts clearly disagree based on where he was drafted.

Yeah I feel like that statement just gets thrown out as a lazy and thoughtless criticism. Not that conservatism only means running vs passing, but it's a lazy take. I don't think any of those losses have been due to being overly conservative. You could maybe argue 2021, but even then I don't agree.

If I had to project I'd say Ziemer is a lock, Mooney on the bubble about 50/50, Rombach and Whipple each unlikely, maybe an outside shot for Whipple. Moe and Kvasnicka almost certainly won't make it.
