    Fleck: ‘We’re a 6-5 football team, this isn’t 2-10’

He also talked about he doesn’t care about year nine every year is year one. So many young players out there well that’s his fault too one way or another his schtick even in comparison to the college coaching world is ridiculous. He just makes shit up and expects us all to gobble it up when it...

    Coyle - Discuss

Maturi was so popular that when the woke folks decided to name the facility after him, they didn’t tell anyone ahead of time because it would’ve gotten shot down.

He is a good tackler. Always has been. Your timing isn’t great as he got trucked badly on the goal line today barely a speed bump on the way to a TD.

    Coyle - Discuss

Part of an A.D.‘s job is to be the communicator on behalf of athletics at the university. Coyle can barely speak English. He’s probably better than any A.D. we’ve had in my lifetime which isn’t saying much. We have just a historic run of poor hires in that job. He will never hold PJ accountable...

Shocker. But the positivity is good.

The Law of the Unknown Trajectory

A lot of folks have mentioned it here. I don’t blame the kicker. It’s just like in business. I don’t blame the Frontline folks. It’s the people that managed them that take responsibility if they’re not capable of doing the job, then they shouldn’t be in the position.

When they got rid of Smith back in the day, that was the issue or a big issue that they cited when he laughed and things were simplified. It got way better. I don’t know if it’s the same issue here I think it’s more of this guy just way in over his head

    It's time for a change.

There’s truth than that yes. I just can’t stand it when people add up our assistant coach salaries, and say that we don’t have enough to pay them. That’s not true. Our knuckleheads at the coordinator positions are overpaid, even at the relatively paltry amount they may compared to their peers...

    It's time for a change.

lol. Take a minute to look up what our share of the Big Ten media money is per year.

Yeah, a lot of what went on yesterday was akin to 84-13. The choices for our coordinators has really screwed up the enjoyment factor on Saturdays.

Priorities for next year? (Christmas wish list)

Without focusing on coaching, we need DL and CB. I still think we have some talent in the OL room and I’m not sure why those two transfers got pushed to the front of the line on the right side finally benched 74 yesterday; i’ll be at game 11?

Fleck said there are no excuses but reasons why the team didn’t win today. Goes on later to mention that they are playing lots of new players.

Our offense is still ranked 105th or something in the country. I don’t think the OC is getting a pass. The defense has just been so bad it’s shifted most of the focus there.

    I will bet anyone here...

It should be easy we have a replacement or replacements on the roster.

The thing too is it’s just not that complicated and or hard to figure out if you have a competent leader at DC.

He’s the keeper of acronyms. My guess is PJ‘s taking all that nonsense too far at the expense of real football work.

Smith is just a whisker less than a a full foot taller than Collins, but they certainly do seem like twin spirits.
  17. G

Do you guys look at the spread

OK, I’ll bite. The reason why we were a dog is not because Northwestern is any good. It’s because we had only played cumulatively about 80 decent minutes of football in the first 10 games. The fact that we played to the spread is nothing to be proud of.

    Next years defense

He couldn’t have played any worse today. He’d probably say the same thing. He also wouldn’t be the first person who came back to play his last year of eligibility when they could’ve entered the draft.
