There is the problem. Accuracy is the most important thing for an NFL QB. Missing wide open out routes will end your career quickly.

That's the way it used to be, but it will never happen. The state wants all those games on turf, and very few outstate teams have turf fields (or ever will).

Well, there is BIG money to be made running these leagues so it's not going anywhere.

This is really a big part of the issue football is facing. I would argue maybe outside of wrestling, football is the most physically demanding sport schools offer. But unlike wrestling, you can (or should) only play 1 game per week. Many kids in our school HATE any kind of physical activity...

Luckily AAAAAA schools can already start building schedules and gobbling up all the officials. 9-man through AAAAA haven't even been placed into districts yet. Could be another month before that happens. Probably won't find out schedules until after school is out!

I assume that these are your best guesses and not "official". The meeting is this Thursday with official sections. I have seen stories on the local news regarding some big movement. Most interesting one to me was Rochester Lourdes dropping down to Class AA so will likely be in Section 1AA with...

Have heard from good sources that schools that appealed were informed of results today. Haven't heard any specifics yet though.

One week later and schools that appealed apparently still don't have an answer if their appeals were accepted or rejected. (from schools I've talked to that appealed.)

Correct, that is why I was just wondering if any appeals were actually granted to schools. I see Sections are supposed to be posted in about 3 weeks. I saw there were a handful of schools that no longer qualify of 9-man and a few that now do. Was wondering if that would be considered...

Appeals were supposed to be heard on Wednesday and schools were supposed to be informed of those appeal results yesterday. Anyone hear of any appeals that were granted? I've heard the MSHSL is very tough on granting appeals, so just was wondering how many they granted.

I've heard that the new thing they are doing for free/reduced lunch part is they are only counting those that qualify through direct certification from the state database, so kids that don't automatically qualify and fill in the "form", don't count as free/reduced anymore for enrollment purposes...
