2025-26 College Football Coach Fired/Hired Thread

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the DeBoer steam there was true. I'd love it if he left Alabama hanging at the end of the coaching carousel. But I'd also love it those rumors weren't true and for Penn St to end up with a significant downgrade from Franklin, who they should have never fired.

I agree. Ole Miss would be stupid to not let Lane coach in the CFP.

    Max

Injuries can happen at any minute even with a fully healthy roster. Worrying about Max being injured before the game even starts is ridiculous. Plus JJ will likely be healthy again next week. I want the Vikings to be good. You continue to infer that the Vikings can't be good with Brosmer...

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

Because the owners are paying the most cash in the NFL for poor results this season. In addition they are back in cap hell again next season, and they'll have to make several cuts just to get under the cap. Do you think the owners are getting what they paid for? This aging and expensive roster...

Yes it literally does mean what I said it means. Cap and cash paid are two different things. They have to pay the cash at some point, and the Vikings are paying out of pocket for this years team more than every other NFL team.

    Max

Jesus give it up. Just because the OL has injuries doesn't mean Max will be injured. There's OL injures all over the league. Just admit you never wanted Max to start and you don't want to see him starting going forward.

    Max

In the Vikings thread, where you also post complete nonsense. These were in response to this post: howeda7 said: I don't think there's any fear to put Brosmer in there. And they need to know if he can be QB2 going forward for 2026 and 2027. A guy with a handful of career starts who's been on...

    Max

Sure it was by your own words. Ever since Wentz went down for the season you've stated Max wasn't really the backup and would never start if JJ went down again.

Yes but that doesn't mean every team spends the same amount of cash each year. The Vikings spent 344 million in cash on this 4-7 team this year. It's why I think there's a good chance Kwesi is gone after the season. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cash

    Snow Day Game

I was off by a day all week, for some reason I thought this game was today. Throw all of my old forecasts out! There will be light snow throughout the day tomorrow. It'll be a long slow accumulation of 3-6" across the metro.

The Vikings have the most expensive roster in the NFL this season. They're going to have to cut multiple starters just to get under the cap next season.

All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Reed Sheppard is more of a small SG than a PG. He was also terrible last year and put up numbers nearly identical to Rob Dillingham. Then the Wolves staff decided they needed to change Robs shot and it broke him where as the Rockets staff is actually developing Sheppard. He's still not a PG...

All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

How many NBA champion head coaches have there been who got their first head coaching job at 51? I will guess very few if any. He's a career assistant and if he wasn't he would have had a head coaching opportunity a lot earlier. Continuing to blame this on not having a point guard you guys like...

Missing FTs wasn't the only issue. Every year under Finch it's the same story down the stretch. He also called a completely unnecessary timeout late in the 4th, and the Wolves immediately responded with back to back turnovers. That ended the game. The players don't listen to him. They admit it...

Does OKC have a shot at the all time regular season win record

OKC is the perfect dynasty for this era of unwatchable basketball under Adam Silver, the worst commissioner of any sport, of all time. He's allowed NBA refs, who are beyond corrupt, to completely control the outcome of every game and OKC is the #1 beneficiary of that. They are allowed to play...
