Yeah - I caught that too. I hope Omersa gets better at finishing on simple put backs, but its great that it doesnt seem to phase him. He come right back, disrupts, slaps at the ball. He oozes enthusiasm whether he's on the bench or on the court.
We couldnt afford to have someone who isn't even sure they were going to play at this level tie up a spot on the roster - there are enough surprises without asking for one. There are some legitimate misses by Pitino but this isnt one of them.
Interesting find! Carleton does make it more intriguing. Hard to guess one should scout there. All conference honors must have elevated the visibility. I note he had some injuries in HS that probably affected his development.
Totally this. I have to turn the volume down for him. He’s awful, and yes, how an actual complete thought was translated into a quotable opinion is remarkable.
Pretty sure he went to the soccer school of injury response. I was reassuring people last game that he was probably fine.
Cant agree that his emotions are his biggest weakness. He bounces back from everything super fast which to me is the mark of emotional balance.
Actually - consider if Suggs bailed on the U of M as many sugg-ested he may. That would be a PR disaster. If he bails on Gonzaga to pursue pro - no problem. Y'all are over thinking this.
Demir easily gets most improved from the beginning of the season. I didn’t think he was going to contribute in a significant way. 11pts & 7 reb. He’s become pretty reliable around the rim
