How often do non-CFP bowl teams have a rematch with a regular season opponent? Seems like it’s in everyone’s interest to avoid that outcome.

We’re lucky to be in a bowl, so I’m just hoping for somewhere that’s a decent location (not Detroit, Shreveport, etc) and an opponent we wouldn’t normally play.

Well, at least this season isn’t giving us false hope for our true position in the B1G going forward. Being at the bottom of a super conference is going to suck.

Jerry Kill stuff aside, I absolutely love seeing an SEC team get beat down at home by one of the late-season “cupcake” games they schedule each year.

I told myself I wouldn’t watch the Gophers this year given Johnson’s predictably abysmal results. I saw the score on ESPN and, slightly hopeful, turned it on just after half. Just… wow. Didn’t take long to get back to total apathy. I’ll check back in when they hire a qualified coach.

Kinda depends. If you have an undefeated FSU, B1G champ, and Washington, then only one of Bama/UGA should get in. If only 2/3 above teams are undefeated, then I can see a 1-loss UGA and 1-loss SEC champ Bama making it.
