    Over the years St. Thomas wanted to merge but St. Kate's declined. During the disscussions the schools decided to have a reciprocal relationship with letting students take classes at each others schools.

    I am under the impression the O'shaughnessy's have plenty of money to help build out this D1 idea. Their latest new company rumor will be them building a 30 million dollar distillery next to Surly brewing. It's going to be interesting how involved they are with this move up.

    First congrats to Coyle. I'm always stunned how well Minnesota does in non-revune sports and can't historically compete in football and basketball. With the right leadership this school easily could have a bigger fan base with more revenue sports teams winning.
