Michigan hit one from 53 that looked like it would have been good from close to 60. Not automatic but still a bad miss and he already had a season's worth of bad misses coming into today.
The call on the onside kick was bad but don't forget the missed kick in the first. Kesich lost us the Unc game and the shot to go to OT with all of the momentum today. We'd likely be 4-1 right now if we had a competent kicker.
PJ and Coyle better call out the BS on the onside kick. It's tough enough competing with a team in a completely different league with NIL, you can't protect your top teams on top of that.
I hope we have something solid up our sleeves for the onside kick, they're betting on it hard with how slow the offense is moving and burning the timeout.
If the offense and special teams didn't wait until the last minute of the first half to show up we'd be in a great spot here. Love that they didn't give up but it's frustrating to see that they can play well but waited too long to get started.
Offense is looking better but not moving fast enough to come back even if they keep this up and the defense keeps Michigan from scoring for the rest of the game.
Great catch and transition to the field goal team but why would you throw the ball short of the endzone there? If you're just going to throw it up in traffic, why not go for the touchdown?
