***OFFICIAL wisconsin AT MINNESOTA PAUL BUNYAN 🪓 RIVALRY GAME IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Take Denaburg and launch him into the sun. Worst kicker I’ve ever seen in a Gophers uniform

Jedd Fisch to Florida, PJ to Washington?

What better place to take “Row the Boat” than to the shore of Lake Washington, the home of “Boys in the Boat,” the moving story of some of the greatest boat rowers who ever lived.

Rumor from CBS that Dylan Riola may jump Nebraska

I’ve been told that expecting a young man not to jump from school to school pejoratively puts you in the “honor your commitments” crowd. Raiola fits comfortably in the “make no commitments” group.

    Jett Walker flips to MN

So he's going to take the Penn State job, then back out of that, then accept the Florida job and ultimately decline that, then finally decide to go to LSU?

    Jett Walker flips to MN

You keep dodging your own arguments every time you make one. So I'll just go back to my initial comment, that a kid committing to 3 schools in 3 weeks must've had some top notch guidance, from coaches, parents, agent, whomever.

    Jett Walker flips to MN

When he was at Western, did Fleck announce his commitment to take the Cincinnati job, only to decommit from that to accept the Kansas State job 2 weeks later, only to decommit again a week after that to take the Minnesota job? No he didn’t, so your comparison is nonsense. We’re talking about a...

    Jett Walker flips to MN

Let me know when a coach, any coach, accepts 3 different jobs in 3 weeks.

Why doesn't The Bank have a ring of honor? It needs one.

Then I was too drunk to notice the last time I was there.

Why doesn't The Bank have a ring of honor? It needs one.

Thanks for posting this, I have to admit I didn't know this was there, so I do appreciate the correction. I haven't been to TCF/HBS for a few years, so I think the last time I was there this didn't exist, but I should've researched before I posted. We do agree that there should be others as...

    Coyle - Discuss

Funny timing, I was just working on a summary of Coyle's results as he approaches his 10th anniversary as AD when you posted this, so I figured I'd post it now. He was hired in May 2016, so I broke down each team sport's records starting in Fall 2016, running through Spring 2025, except for...

Why doesn't The Bank have a ring of honor? It needs one.

Yeah, I know that, but I think the names of the people being honored should face the field, which is where they were great, not in the concourse, which feels like they're being buried.

Why doesn't The Bank have a ring of honor? It needs one.

Nope, I have no opinion on the band pit, although I'm not sure why that would impact my desire to see the names of past greats on the facade of the upper deck.

Why doesn't The Bank have a ring of honor? It needs one.

I'm curious why this program doesn't have a Ring of Honor around The Bank's seating bowl to acknowledge the best of the best to ever play football for the University of Minnesota? We rightfully include our national and Big Ten championship years, but do nothing for the legends. I know there's a...

    We Need a Billionaire!!!!

Here's my pitch: I'll start a GoFundMe, and once everyone's donations reach $1 billion I'll become the Gophers' sugar daddy.

2025-26 College Football Coach Fired/Hired Thread

Jesus. This guy's a cockroach, both in terms of survivability and his filthy soul.

    Jett Walker flips to MN

I understand those dynamics, but if he's talented enough to play at Texas and in the SEC (who knows, he may flip again for Alabama!), coaches always give that level of talent more time to make their decision. When a "commitment" bails for another school, especially this close to national signing...

2025-26 College Football Coach Fired/Hired Thread

I think I'd be very cautious about taking the Auburn job. They've had 3 different coaches in the last 6 seasons. They've become a churn and burn factory.
