I would agree. There has to be a lot more to the story. I would love to rip on Wisconsin and say it is a bad look for them, but I don't think it is that easy. As much as I hate to say it, I actually love that a school is fighting back and holding a player accountable if they signed something.

I'd argue that the fact they are in the NFL means they are good and good film against FCS competition only gets you to training camp. Once you are at training camp NFL teams don't care where you come from or how you get there... with the exception of a rookie drafted in the first three rounds.

For what it is worth, and doesn't strengthen my argument, but Ohio State was ranked 8th and may be the current favorite to win it. True, they weren't 9-12... but if in the first year the 8th ranked team wins it would be hard argument to say the #9 team will never win it.
