You are 100% right if Max didn’t spend a year here Viking fans wouldn’t be calling for him…. But he did spend a year here. Personally, I’m a fan of the Gophers and Vikings and am jacked to see him play for the Vikes. I like Max, I believe in Max, and I hope he does well!

It’s more the point of he is using last year like we were in the running for the CFP. We were good, not great. Fleck routinely has multiple games if he were to win we would have a much different view on his entire tenure. Yes, we lost talent…

I disagree with Ben Johnson... I don't think there are any 50-50 balls in the NFL. With the PI penalties and yardage associated with them... I feel like it is more 80-20 in favor of the offense. Any contact, failure to look back, or in reality offensive PI... usually results in the defense...

I'm not going to trash him. He was obviously a very good coach for the U. I can't rank him as the best recruiter in Minnesota as I don't know what coaches are directly responsible for what area, but the current staff is light years ahead of the Mason staff when it comes to recruiting Minnesota.

Just my opinion, it has more to do with the lack of tackling in practice. This is a universal problem all the way through the NFL. I’m sure many of us are from the same generation. I played HS football in the late 90s…. Every Tuesday and Wednesday we were tackling to the ground all practice...

I would argue the Cal game was lost because there was zero aggressiveness. I don't have the stats in front of me, but I would be shocked if we threw a pass farther than 15 yards more than a handful of times.
