What if the well rested Gopher defense had…

So, the two td passes the Gophers scored weren’t complimentary? I’m not saying the passing isn’t important. I am pretty impatient with the constant and never ending claims that most of this board is making that this loss was caused by the qb. The two td passes Minnesota got from their offense...

What if the well rested Gopher defense had…

How many times do we see a nice kick off return negated by an illegal block…returned only to the 15 Yard line. Kick returns are some of the most common flag throwing events for the refs…and some of the most dangerous for the players. Risk/Reward mean anything? Taking the ball on the 25 isn’t...

What if the well rested Gopher defense had…

But, all of them resulted in some points for the Iowa offense. With All the points given up by the Gopher defense considering the fact that Iowa was limited to only TWENTY minutes of offense because the Gopher offense kept the Iowa offense on the sidelines for 40 minutes of the game imagine how...

What if the well rested Gopher defense had…

Tackled better on third and long situations rather than giving up numerous first downs? Iowa would have had more three and outs and less big play opportunities and would have given the Gopher offense better field position and not as many long fields to drive. What if the well rested Gopher...

    Disappointing Year

My heart goes out to you and your expectations. Guess you are done for the year with my Gophers based upon what you say. So sad, too bad. I see a couple more Big Ten games coming up and then a bowl game. Just remember, it’s a long time until the 2022 Big Ten Football season rolls around. I...

    Week 10 Bowl Projections

Sponsored by ANYONE other than the fine, yet somewhat compulsively complaining Society of pseudo-hyper-critical-lynch mobbing members of the know it all armchair, just can’t let it go, wonderfully greater than human being, elitist: “…bench Tanner…”branch of the GH poster family tree. ;0)

    Week 10 Bowl Projections

Damn, as much as so many posters on this board are putting down Fleck, his coaches and the players, I’d probably say: very brewsteresque. Man, some of the posters here are expressing their hate of what I think has the possibility to be a damn fine Big Ten season. It’s time for the Gopher...

Entering last 3 controlling own destiny

People on this board have been known to be somewhat excessive in letting their emotions run amuck based upon their expectations. And so it goes…

Entering last 3 controlling own destiny

Sorry , I can’t buy a bunch of fan opinions over the program PAID Coach and his PAID Staff members opinion when it comes to knowing how the heck to coach the U of M football team in the month of November. I’ve known plenty of fans who have told me they know more than the people who are PAID to...

    Coyle Deserves some heat

Don’t worry, sir. I’m sure Coyle will spring back from your spirited and very severe dressing down! 😂 It was a bad day to be a Gopher fan, I’ll grant you…a real tough bounce for Fleck, Coyle, the team and everyone who saw the game. But, next Saturday, maybe the Gopher will re-coil down in...

Post Game Reaction Thread: Illini Beat Gophers

So now we don’t have to worry when our fans say the kinds of things some of them say when ever the team the coach is totally in charge of looses a game. Is it the fault of the head coach…some assistant coach who has to kow tow to the head coach…the players??? Or, every last one of the people...

You make the call - do you fire Frost?

Re: Dr. Tom. I believe that his larger than life in Nebraska (his political career and the much larger than life amount of respect, admiration and hero worship that he commanded with the citizens of CornHusker Nation made it almost impossible for for any Coach following him to ever claim that...

You make the call - do you fire Frost?

Perhaps they are more patient than some here think they could be or are with Frost. Trev Alberts was also a Nebby great player. Maybe he is a Frost buddy, fan and wants to create some stability as an AD. Maybe the long shadow of Dr. Tom is thinking: “…Frosty & Trev will figure this thing out…”

You make the call - do you fire Frost?

Perhaps some GH fans don’t really know what some Nebby fans really think about Frost?

You make the call - do you fire Frost?

Nebraska’s big problem lies in the fact that they have never become physical enough up front on offense or defense, I would contend. There was a time in the Big Eight when they were. Then, all that spread stuff took them out of “black shirt” mode and they increasingly tried to rely on, big...

You make the call - do you fire Frost?

I would not fire him. That team has improved. They are a tough win for most BT teams. Brewster at Mn had a full conference season with Zero BT Conference wins. That is a sin worse than death for a BT Coach. He was given more time. Finally in his last season, he had ZERO BT Conference wins...
