From my early days watching this team Bonin, Crowley, and Reggie Berg were favorites. Some others are Westrum, Taffe, Potulny #2, Irmen, Rau, Bjugstad, Haula, and Schmidt. Cooley and Knies probably my favorite though.

I'd say that's all fairly accurate, but I can still agree with his recruiting stance at the same time.

I agree, it's been 6 months since the window opened. I'm really surprised they have not had a single recruit. Lots of high end guys have already committed elsewhere. And of course, the goalie situation for the future is not looking good.

Valid concern, assuming at some point it might not work out. But you have to look at the success our D is having over the last half dozen years and admit that maybe PJ knows what to look for in defensive coaches.
