I'm curious how year to year NIL pay works out ... not that there's any numbers to really KNOW these numbers.
I'm imagining an economic downturn and some teams / NIL orgs might realize "oh snap ... uh no we aren't going to pay that much this year".
I wish I could buy into these, I'm sure some folks feel that way, but it's some ESPN connected thing, and hell just about any social media, the meltdowns are just for clicks.
I wonder if this has to do with the whole situation.
Supposedly one donor is driving all this.
I wonder if it has driven a lot of boosters away ... so money outside that one guy drying up?
Observation.
Iowa is un-ranked and Oregon is #6.
On the surface this is a game where the ranking indicates an easy weekend for Oregon.
But every fan seems to know this is a big game and lots of folks are interested in it in spite of the rankings.
