If Fleck doesn't take 100% ownership for this disaster postgame..

His recruiting is more like ground chuck that he tries to sell to the fans as prime grade A need

    Fire PJ immediately please

And Coylw isn’t going anywhere because at bigger programs the AD actually has to deal with boosters and be a public persona, things Coyle has proven incapable to do effectively.

The headline in the Sunday paper will read?...

It’s not just the players at Northwestern that are smarter than the gophers

    PJ is Glen Mason

Well apparently PJ isn’t recruiting that effectively. Mason had to recruit to the dome and significantly worse facilities yet still had multiple difference makers who had more than a cup of coffee in the NFL unlike PJ’s recruits.

    Fire PJ immediately please

Based on what. Compared to other Big 10 Jobs they don’t have the fan, booster, or NiL support of many other Big Ten programs. Nevermind that Minnesota high school football is a joke.

If Fleck doesn't take 100% ownership for this disaster postgame..

It never finishes that high under PJ. You fell for his marketing. Every year he fills his classes early relative to other schools and touts these top ranked classes, knowing full well once other schools fill their classes that his class rankings will drop like a brick. At that point he...

All Things P.J. Fleck Rumor Mill Thread - Listed as Candidate for Other Jobs

If you believe any of the rumors, PJ has tried repeatedly to leave Minnesota since arriving here (Oregon, Tennessee, Nebraska, etc) but none of those jobs have reciprocated his/his representatives interest.

    Fire PJ immediately please

Gophers couldn’t hire any better. They have no big boosters, no fan support, no NIL, and no instate talent.

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT NORTH CAROLINA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I’m shocked. So many gopherhole experts said the offense was going to be so much better this year with Athan and a new OC. They are simply OK at most positions on offense.

Good Article on Nebraska’s 3-3-5 Defense

Not ideal for first time OC’s going against that defense which they don’t see a lot and their DC has run that defense for many years

SI: Bulletin board material for Gophers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis

He has the talent but the question is whether the offensive line can protect him. They have potential too but they are the least experienced o-line in the big ten based on starts

Athlon Sports reports Clemson, Florida State, Oregon, and Washington

Agreed on actual eyeballs and advertising dollars being more important than adding residents of a city or state to a big ten plan. Teams with national interest and better TV ratings are going to be more important because those games can demand higher rates from advertisers.

Same as the local AAU coaches who complained forever about the gopher coaches and then the U hired their chosen guy and they send virtually none of their top players to the U

Adam Kisaayi Commits to Gophers! (UPDATED 7/13: Adam De-Commits from Gophers)

That Big 10 money is used to support the other non-revenue sports. That’s why you still need donor money which the gophers have very very little of

Nebraska still has a big ten west title which the gophers don’t. They also pay a lot more than Minnesota. There isn’t a coach in the country that would take the Minnesota job over Oklahoma or Nebraska. Oklahoma being the best job of the three. It’s just way easier to recruit at those...

They struggle often in the B12, you cannot be serious. Oklahoma will always be a better job than Minnesota, and it isn’t even close

And if they do he will be replaced by a highly sought after coach. OU is a great job with tons of money and easy access to Texas recruits
