Describe the Gophers loss to NW in 1 sentence?

    That is not acceptable.

Post Game Thread: Gophers Lose Back and Forth Game to Northwestern, Fall to 6-5 as Defense Struggles Again

Felt like a Jim Wacker defense. Melted butter puts up more resistance. That new DC is clearly in over his head. And no excuse for the program not to have a serviceable kicker.

Is 6-4 good? In 2025, success needs more context than just win total; "There’s a lot of really good football teams in the country that are 6-4"

Finish 9-4 and that is pretty close to the MN ceiling of late. Give that a golf clap and maybe feel there is guarded excitement for 2026. Anything less is meh to meh minus and be real careful not to buy into the hype going into 2026 until a meaningful victory is won.

Gophers need that little blue pill.

B1G Ten Standings - Deeper Look

Not sure what this ‘data’ is trying to show us. A well coached team would have beaten California and not been as embarrassed against OSU, Iowa, and Oregon. And not have left the Rutgers and MSU games up to a coin flip. Do not think that this team has over performed.

What grade would you give the Gophers in the Oregon blowout?

    F. Extra week of prep and they came out stinking from the first drives. Down 14-0 very quickly. It is one thing to lose to a very good team, but to have not even know how to have defenders in the vicinity of a receiver?

I want this for Minnesota football

Now would be time for the 4star PSU recruits to get their act together and start letting air out of the Indiana balloon.

Home losses by year post Bierman

Thank you for compiling this. I guess. Now I know that I have purchased tickets to over 110 Gopher losses.

6-3 including 4-2 in B1G! I got a kick out of Ryan Burns' "Go find joy" rant!

If it wasn’t for Indiana, I might be happy with this participation award that so many are happy about. Indiana is showing that a football non-blue blood can climb at least near to the top of the mountain. We should want the Gophers to have the view from the top.

Matt Rhule's new buyout is $71MM! Dude is 0-18 vs ranked opponents at Baylor and Nebraska

Compare that picture to Fleck’s history (PJ 93-64) and I would think W Mich and MN are as hard or harder to win at than Temple, Baylor, and Nebbie.

Air Force game in 2009, first game at the Bank. It was like we had been released from a long prison sentence.

Say something nice about Iowa, 2025 edition

Very nice that Iowa ships the good part of the pig out of state (bacon, et al) and keeps the pig shit at home.

    Crowd last night ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Cornhuskers buy lots of alcohol and curds. I wouldn’t want to be in their vehicles for an 8 hour drive home.

POST GAME THREAD: GOPHERS DOMINATE HUSKERS!! WIN 6TH STRAIGHT VS NEBRASKA!!!!

Whoa, talk about flashback, that was me 40 years ago. It was a lot trickier getting back to pioneer from the Metrodome but plenty of time to empty the bottle of vodka.

What grade would you give Gophers coaching in the win over Purdue?

    C. In game coaching was better than Rutgers game. Some of the issues seemed to be the players this game. No line push at all. Tackling bad. Receivers not getting separation, Lindsey not quite as sharp.
