    Replace Greg Harbaugh Jr. With?

Well, also the 22.7ppg number includes 66 points against Northwestern State. If we just look at the 8 games so far against P4 teams, it's down to 17.25 ppg. What is an acceptable number?

Gophers Fleck opening statement after Oregon.

We are playing well though, when we aren't playing great teams. I agree and admit that Iowa doesn't quite fall into that category .. that was the worst one, of the four losses, in a sense.

If you want to be literal then probably most have never made a "perfect" decision.

In the Gophers 3 Big Ten loses this season, Minnesota has been out scored 125-19.

I'll allow it  But it seems you get it? NW and Wisconsin are not nearly on the same level as Oregon. Right?? Am I crazy?

Gophers Fleck opening statement after Oregon.

Washington lost to Wisconsin. Any credibility Wash had this year went flying out the window.

    Replace Greg Harbaugh Jr. With?

At the very least, these numbers should be compared against the average ppg allowed of the defenses we played in each year. That's a lot of work to do and I don't expect you to do it. I'm just saying that would make the comparison a lot more valid and fair.

Sounds like you agree at the very least that IU Cignetti has a shelf life on excellence. Glad we agree on that.

    Was this a fumble?

The discussion moot, for me. I would abolish the rule entirely. I'd make the rule be that any fumble into and then out of the endzone automatically gives the fumbling team the ball back at the spot of the fumble. I won't change my mind. There is no valid argument to be had to support the rule...

Two Schools Are Reportedly Considering Leaving The Big Ten

Then CBS and NBC were crazy to sign on and pay what they paid. That could well collapse if the ratings don't pull through. Without ratings, the $$$ won't make sense and it won't be there. So either FOX has to cough up the whole encilada, or else something is going to have to be figured out...

Not sure if you were implying that I'm one of those people, but for the record I am not. Cignetti does not walk on water. And I don't think it would take 40 years to get back to this level if Fleck left.

    1. it's the correct analogy for what college football is. 2. I didn't say you had to like it. It's just the fact of what it is ... it's not a level playing field.

??? Factual evidence is not something that can be debated. They're the best, or at the very least one of the best, ownerships in the league. Do they make perfect decisions all the time? Of course not. No one does

Two Schools Are Reportedly Considering Leaving The Big Ten

NBC has reportedly expressed frustration with its Big Ten contract, which it still hasn’t officially signed, after discovering restrictions it claims weren’t fully disclosed. Those restrictions include Ohio State and Michigan both being able to veto night games after the first week of November...

Where in my post did I make a claim about a specific year? Your demand for a specific year went above and beyond my post. What I do know is that Clemson used to be kings of the world, Dabo walked on water. How about now? Exact same coach. Same facilities, same fanbase.

I don't think it should take up the entire rev share fund to get a badass OL. Just like it doesn't take up the entire cap in the NFL. I'm just saying we need an upgrade there.

No one is talking about Indiana if they go 9-3 in 2024 and 2025. You're absolutely correct that it's a huge step up from where they were, but no one is giving them the attention they're getting now and acting like Cignetti walks on water.

Two Schools Are Reportedly Considering Leaving The Big Ten

Even though there's no trophy for winning the division, it still gets you a playoff berth so that is something. Would love to get back to some kind of four-team division in college football, whether that's strictly in the Big Ten or as part of a super league. At that point, I want to see 12 P5...

To the school. The U of MN has a massive endowment. I doubt that came to be just from small gifts. How many give massive gifts to (IU, or the U of MN for that matter) athletic department specifically?

That's impossible for me to answer unless I can see all rev share & NIL payments right now to all P4 players. (And that should be the case, just like in the NFL. Absolutely no reason these guys paydays shouldn't be known.)
