In the Gophers 3 Big Ten loses this season, Minnesota has been out scored 125-19.

Bold: easy ... the reason we lose (badly) on the road is because the teams we've played on the road this year are much, much better than the teams we've played at home. There's nothing we're doing on the road, in terms of logistics, that's having any effect. To your point about scoring more &...

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

The source for this article is On3, which you can look around GopherHole and find their numbers are completely made up.

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

This is not correct. The clearinghouse will not allow any NIL deal that pays higher than market rate for an endorsement, and it has to be a bonafide deal where the athlete has to actually perform services for the money, not a no show job type deal.

    Northwestern favored by 5.5

Their defense is supposed to be pretty good. They're fighting for bowl eligibility. It's a quasi-neutral field. The field conditions are supposed to be awful.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

Well, this is why I was careful to make a big separation between what being a great owner is about, and then the tough but very limited (hopefully) decisions that ownership makes. Ownership decisions should be limited to hiring an executive team, a general manager, and a head coach. They should...

More boasting. If they're so eager to put it out there ... publish the contract.

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

Boasting by Tech officials and players with no corroborating documents doesn't do it for me.

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

There was a mad rush to get as much 3rd party NIL signed earlier in the year for this season as possible, because the contracts for next season I believe are the ones that are starting to be scrutinized under NIL Go. My point is, you could easily have Texas schools with somewhere between 20-40...

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

It's hard for me to believe even the dirtiest SEC programs would fund them right out of the athletic department coffers. That's traceable and completely against the rules. That would be wild

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

You could be exactly right ... and that would be wild. It shouldn't be able to change that much in 15 years. 2010 season was their last one that I was referring to

Then explain Wisconsin's Rose Bowl top 10 finish seasons, in the 90's under Alvarez and in the 2000's under Bielema.

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

Huh? They don't have to under the table ... the settlement allows them to rev share $20.5M per year. 3rd party NIL then can add on top of that, if the deals are bonafide and pass the new clearinghouse. And if you believe boosters are still paying players under the table like the days before...

Fire Coyle, Fire Fleck! Rip the Band-Aid off!!!

This post describes the ethos of something like a religious belief. You don't have the facts. Neither do I. Neither does anyone. No one knows the actual truth about what each player is making, whether that be "rev share", "NIL", or McDonald's bags under the table. No one knows. It should all...

In the Gophers 3 Big Ten loses this season, Minnesota has been out scored 125-19.

Of course. The only reason we've lost on the road is because we've played great teams on the road. Again, the Cal game is an exception ... but the game was also after Midnight Central time on the players bodies.

    Replace Greg Harbaugh Jr. With?

So here's my thing... I think (at least in major P4 staffs) we need dedicated OC and DC. Just like in the NFL. They should not also be coaching a position group. I think our safety play this year has suffered because now Collins is also the DC and can't focus his full attention on safeties...

    Was this a fumble?

Still would be better than a touchback. Just an awful, awful rule.

Gophers Fleck opening statement after Oregon.

We're winning the games. Something has to be going well. If you're going to define well as beating every average Big Ten team by 30+, then no we are not playing well.

In the Gophers 3 Big Ten loses this season, Minnesota has been out scored 125-19.

OK, think we're on the same page. I'm just saying ... we beat Rutgers, Purdue, Nebraska, and Mich State. We would've beaten them on the road, too. NW is the same quality as those teams. So ... we should beat them too, based on season results. Although they did just scare the piss out of...

    Was this a fumble?

The. moment. you try to cheat it .. you fumble on purpose ... the football gods will s__ all over you and it won't work. The ball won't actually go out of the endzone. The other team will recover it, then it really will be a touchback. You make a good point, though. I will update my proposed...
