    Three More Games

That's exactly what I was thinking. In a demented way, winning at Oregon might be worth losing the last two. This board would be total chaos after the win and loses! If we do beat Oregon, I say we drive out there after the game and pull down the goalposts even if it is one day after the game...

Our defense has potential next year - Perich, Brown, Kingsbury, Karmo, etc.

Nate Becker is a senior, but as march madness said, has another year of eligibility left. He's flashed a little on the interior lately so he should help next year. 6-6 & 300 Ibs. https://gophersports.com/sports/football/roster/nate-becker/23014

Legit speed. Now we need to feed him and put him in that gum stretcher room in Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.

6-3 including 4-2 in B1G! I got a kick out of Ryan Burns' "Go find joy" rant!

If we end up 8-4, it will be the most Iowa like 8-4 we've ever seen here. Lose total overall yardage, but win anyway with low mistakes and winning in the crucial moments, all while driving casual fans nuts! Do I think we can keep this up year-after-year? No. I'll take it for one year though.

6-3 including 4-2 in B1G! I got a kick out of Ryan Burns' "Go find joy" rant!

Burns and the rest of the podcast talked about how bad our corners are this year. The whole defense is compromised by this. So maybe it's not the DL making the rest of the defense look bad which was my initial suspicion, maybe it's trying to protect our corners? They surprised me by saying...

Our defense has potential next year - Perich, Brown, Kingsbury, Karmo, etc.

Sometimes it's tough to watch this Gophers team when they struggle lining up enough high quality athletes, but there seems to be reason for hope. - Watching Koi make up all the ground running that RB down from behind was fun even if the guy did gain 71 yards. It was also fun watching him play...

Maybe This Is Actually a Lucky Season for the Gophers

I love your determination, but turning off the Iowa game at half-time and going to do yard work was the right call for my mental health. ;)

    FIRE GREG HARBAUGH

A lot of interesting posts! So many ways to go with what's wrong with this offense: 1) O-line is the biggest problem and makes everyone else look worse. 2) I actually like our receivers athleticism for once. Not elite, but not garbage for once. The bar is low. They are terrible at contested...

Matt Rhule's new buyout is $71MM! Dude is 0-18 vs ranked opponents at Baylor and Nebraska

The evidence doesn't seem to support your hypothesis for CEOs. If this is true, then shouldn't the best performing companies have lower paid CEOs and higher paid employees? There are no laws against this structure. You can start up a company like this tomorrow. That's not what we're seeing...

Reusse: Is P.J. Fleck the answer to lift the Gophers out of mediocrity?

Very well said. The evidence just does not support the U being much better than this. Their financial resources are lower than most other B1G schools. Whenever we get a good coordinator, someone buys them away from us. We've been capturing most of the best Minnesota recruits recently and...

In hindsight, this outcome is not that surprising. This is Mark Gronowski's sixth year as a starting college QB.

I agree with your take except one thing. I wonder if he turns out to be a very good FBS QB. His legs force teams to put more guys up to stop the run making the passing game easier. A guy like Drake with no mobility is facing more guys in pass defense because they aren't worried about him...

In hindsight, this outcome is not that surprising. This is Mark Gronowski's sixth year as a starting college QB.

I think our team is younger than most with our best players, but I'll admit I'm too lazy to research it. Part of my point is that we aren't that good so less players will be poached to go up a level (pro or better teams) and so they'll stay here and improve. We can only wait and see. I also...

In hindsight, this outcome is not that surprising. This is Mark Gronowski's sixth year as a starting college QB.

I'm not so sure that 3.7 yards is legit. Iowa was basically trying to run out the clock the whole second half and ran a very vanilla offense vs. the first half. They did what PJ does with a 10 point lead, but they had a 30 point lead. They wanted to run the ball, we knew they wanted to run...

    Lemeke Brockington is our guy

GG podcast said he should have gone the distance on his screen pass, but just got tripped up. That would have helped a lot. Momentum is real and we had none of it.

In hindsight, this outcome is not that surprising. This is Mark Gronowski's sixth year as a starting college QB.

    1) We have a relatively young team especially when you look at our best players. None are really good enough to be a threat to go pro early though so should be back. They should be improved since they are only 20-year olds. The only threat to leave early is Anthony Smith and even he has been...

In hindsight, this outcome is not that surprising. This is Mark Gronowski's sixth year as a starting college QB.

I must say, I'm glad I went and worked in my yard after we fell behind 31-0 or I'd probably be just as worked up as the rest of you. I feel better today because I was actually productive yesterday and have some perspective. Let me point out a few things after going back and watching the rest...

Always remember this: Minnesota had more sacks than Nebraska had points.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Former five star portal transfer from Alabama. Struggled with consistency because of a lack of mental discipline. Wow! That happened again in a big way!

Is Our D Coaching Brutally Bad At Times?

I think our DL is below average for the B1G and so are our corners. The two in combination are causing big problems in both pass and run defense. The corners are a big step down from last year. Our linebackers and safeties are about average. The linebackers look worse because of the DL play...
