I love how people comment on how so-and-so school only wears traditional uniforms, or only wears their perfect school colors, and 90% of the time, they're wrong.

Oregon literally only has one uniform that uses both of their two primary colors of green and yellow.

That's 100% a safety issue I would think. But major corporation CEO's also often have a mandatory retirement age.

Pretty sure in the case of Texas A&M, it came from wealthy boosters who will pay whatever it takes for a winning team. Of course A&M never actually wins anything, so the ROI might not be there.

Reading on Reddit about this, it sounds like the issues are distance from campus, and that the Rose Bowl isn't in all that good of condition. Though I think they are doing some renovations for the Olympics. SoFi isn't exactly next door to UCLA though either. Too bad they'd never be able to be...

Honestly, as far as major programs go, only USC and Penn State come to mind as never having a real alternate uniform/color scheme, though I think PSU did wear some throwbacks with numbers on the helmets once or twice. Even Notre Dame has those bright green uniforms sometimes.

Probably. And I was pissed too when they changed it. But friendly Goldy is one of the best, most fun mascots there is. In hindsight, I was wrong - it was a good decision.

How much better really are some of the small college facilities as opposed to the newer high schools with turf etc. I get that they don't want later playoff games on some of the poorer grass fields around the state.

I really, really, really want to see Forest Lake beat Edina. One, because I'm a FL grad, and also because I have a serious hatred for Edina football from my time coaching.
