Right on. Fulltime fantasy is "high stakes" league that is hosted at Circa the first week of the NFL season every year. A ton of the people involved also bet in the Circa eliminator pool. Obviously, there are a ton of people not involved with FT Fantasy in the pool as well. I was just curious...
There were a bunch of people - I think 40 - who never got their pick in for week 1.
All of the picks needed to be in by like 10 PM on Saturday before the game and those people must've thought they had until the Sunday kickoffs.
Yep, agreed.
I think that kind of personality is kind of goofy but I would imagine the things that resonate and connect with 17-22 year old men are different than the things that resonate with me. He seems to really care about his players, he has a clean program, we've won more than any time in...
I just watched the game, my takeways are actually pretty simple and other people hit the nail on the head.
We were less skilled and less athletic than Missouri. I actually think they're pretty good.
I think PJ Fleck is genuine, but 99% of the people on the planet that speak in their own catch phrases of full of sh!t. That said, I do think this really is PJ.
I was making a PJ Fleck joke. I think he'd be a tough guy to work for, but Harbaugh does make $750,000 to call plays for the Gophers.
If we are being extremely literal about this discussion, I think you'd take the gig regardless of how you feel about PJ.
Anyone that's ever been held to a budget knows that is not a wise decision. You always spend right up to the limit or else the new budget will be $800K.
I'm not saying that you are wrong but if PJ had $1.2 million to play with and only spent $800K, that's a mistake.
I really hate the style of our offense. I know it annoyed a lot of people when we ran a different style, but give me an offense based on RPO, power running, and max protect passing.
I hate the short passing game in college football.
Myron is defending BJ for the same reason anyone has ever defended his coaching record or the fact that he was hired. He is not spinning it to Ben wasn't successful despite being such a good candidate on paper.
It should be insult to any other similarly-situated individuals.
They're protected because they are seen as less replaceable by the people paying the salaries. The real "powers that be", the investment class, cares about 1 thing - - return on investment. They deem the CEOs to be vital to that return.
You're free to disagree and you could certainly be right...
I have no idea what happened here, but a lot of cities have started putting out crime alerts and reporting crime in a way for political motives. It's why you hear things like "North Loop is as dangerous as North Minneapolis" because it counts a bar fight the same as a mugging.
I don't think people believe Arkansas has the type of elite NIL money to pull a massive name, the argument is that they could get PJ.
To me, they are the opposite of UCLA. UCLA is a program that you look at and believe it should be really good (prestigious, area with a lot of talent, etc.)...
In the 8 years before PJ was hired by the U, we fired two coaches and had 3 winning seasons.
I'm not saying he will go there, but he could see it as a similar situation to MN but with more funding.
If he is looking to move, I think Arkansas could make sense for him.
The program has a lot of donors and PJ might see that as what he needs to get to the next level. They'll likely be a little unrealistic, but people act like Bielema was canned for going .500, he won under 30% of his SEC...
