While absolutely true they're skewed by numbers, most of the teams in front of us only have 1 less guy and Durkin, Omot and Reynolds they have as 4 stars.
Feels like a depth piece, gotta fill out the bottom of the roster with bodies too, and at least he's got some power conference experience. I'd bet Utah State is promising a bigger role though.
That's under the assumption that our young players don't improve and Braun doesn't make a difference. Even standing pat this team should be better next year, obviously would like them to add someone but this is a good team as it stands.
Its a big miss and would've loved to have him here, but the writing was on the wall with all the G offers we've sent out. They're still going after some top tier guards like the WMU guy.
If this doesn't make you finally question ALL of Shooter's tidbits now I don't know what will. This number is so clearly incorrect it boggles the mind that he published it so unquestioningly.
Not sure we'd want anyone other than Evans and Crocker-Johnson. The rest of the contributors on that team are all graduating and ineligible. If we don't get Evans that would suck.
For what it's worth, on the other recruiting services which generally have better reputations than ESPN's.
