My first reaction was to say 5-6 wins. The Cal result is a bit “scary”.
Then I recalled how bad our non-conference performance was the year they finished #10, so I’m still hoping for 8 wins. At this point it’s a crap shoot and when it comes to that, I’m the guy.
So we all know who just passed Woody Hayes as the winningest coach in Big Ten History. This record may be broken some day, Ryan Day may have a shot in 12 years or so…..But Mr Ferentz also owns the record for the most losses with 125 as of gameday today. Second place goes to Pat Fitzgerald who...
Looking ahead to the Cal revenge game, for the 55-14 shellacking of our lads in 1951, costs MN a bigger blowout. As it is I see 34 to 16 Minnesota over the hated NW State squad.
Georgia Tech (17) 1-0; Navy (17) 1-0; Nebraska (13) 1-0; Memphis (11) 1-0; South Florida (9) 1-0; Duke (5) 1-0; Kansas (4) 2-0; Washington (3) 1-0; Vanderbilt (2) 1-0; FIU (1) 1-0;
90-60 record since ‘13 and can’t get a vote? Comparable or better to the guys listed above?
I’m not asking for...
I know it doesn’t mean sh#t, but I can’t believe the Gophers can’t get a single vote in AP or Coaches Polls. Long term coach, consistent winning records, it’s starting to bug me, especially when you see who is getting votes.
Ok, just throwing this out there, food for thought, if you will. With the recent pro success and high draft picks from the Gopher program, should the on field product have more success?
I think the coach is OK, just asking.
