Being a pre-med major doesn't mean a person will be accepted into med school. Every now and again, we hear about athletes who come out of school pre-med taking their shot in the pros with eventual plans to return to med school. Does anyone know of any examples where this has actually happened...

I think I read $75 million is going towards the stadium/stadium district and the balance to create a revenue stream for KU athletics. For so long, donors were pushed for brick and mortar projects. But the push now is for athletic endowments.

I suppose it depends on where you want to sit. FB games in BB stadiums have quite a few seats with terrible sightlines. Are you driving or flying? I drove once and stayed in Evanston and took the train to Wrigley and downtown Chicago.

Is it possible that other states have implemented watered down high school academic standards much like Minnesota? Are the academically risky kids not appearing to be quite so risky coming out of school? That certainly doesn't explain how they stay eligible once at the U or other institutions...

St John's FB fits this bill. A friend's kid went to St John's a year or two removed from undergrad and was "on the football team." He was at about #28 on the depth chart for tight ends.

It may have been at one time but it is a four year institution now. There was a rash of private JUCOs that became four year schools in the last couple of decades. Bethany in Mankato, for one.

I never had an issue hearing the band. My old tickets were visitor side, 2nd deck 25ish yard line. I attend a few games in Brookings at SDSU in the new stadium there and the band is also in recessed, end zone seating and sounds fantastic no matter where you sit. I don't think the recessed...
