Is it a haircut or passed on to the consumer or both? Sales tax is collected by the vendor but paid by the consumer. The vendor can lower prices but I've seen no evidence at sporting events that that is the case.

The first part of this is spot on. The secondary market makes it a lot easier to get into the games a person wants to attend and come out ahead financially. I had season tickets before the fee increase but even then found it difficult to even give away some game tickets.

Other schools can and do charge season ticket holders more for big revenue games. If the U could sell out the stadium with season tickets, they would in a heartbeat.

There are somewhat reliable sources of xDSUs to MWC, with the move funded by MWC exit fees but MWC ended up paying significant sums to AF and UNLV to stay put.

Tops of 2 home exhibition and likely moving to 1. Then 8 or 9 games against NFL teams. Compared to a couple of nonpeer CFB games and maybe one OOC peer game + 4-5 B1G games. When B1G/SEC + breaks away, I hope revenue games are done and it's an NFL style grouping and scheduling.

I agree that the gap is widening. The first two weeks of FCS has been topsy turvey. Big roster turnover on top teams every year will be the norm.

I think the fan enthusiasm diminished because the team was not very good. If the team is an 8.5 win team and still competitive but for the loss to a Dakota, you think the bleachers are still empty?

With expanded playoffs, teams shouldn't be afraid to schedule tougher opponents and take a loss. As a fan, I want to see good football. I turned over to the CyHawk game real early on Saturday.
