Sure. But we are talking about changing the 4 or 5 games that have a ridiculous advantage or travel disadvantage again after everything has played out and then make the decisions play plays the games where they make sense. You are definitely over thinking it

How is it easier? Team X doesn't know they are going to be the 1 or 3 seed, they have to make plans to travel to the sight after the section championship weather its in St Cloud or on the moon. The host site also has to have workers for the game at 7PM on Friday Nov 7 weather its Maple Grove v...

SO, Currently the host site is informed of the Date and times of the games, and the seeds who are playing in the games. THE ONLY THING WE NEED TO DO IS CHANGE THE NAMES OF THE TEAMS PLAYING. The rest of you argument is a mute point because its all set in stone months prior already, none of that...

This is just another thing that MSHSL does... Last year we had teams both making four hour drives for the quarter final games when there were teams in other classes within and hour of that location. You'd think after one season of looking at a couple things that would have been an easy fix. Set...

So i was just doing some thinking on the current playoff format... If we seeded at the section championship level 1-16. People have always brought up the travel issue. Well that could be avoided to a large degree by keeping these neutral sights we are already using for the section championship...

City/town Population doesn't really correlate to school enrolment either Alexandria just under 15K and is a 5A so by comparison to FF less than 1000 people more and a class higher Pillager Population is 531 - their school website says more than 1300 enrolled kids k-12

Its Just the 4 coaches for the North or south for their respective bracket. You vote for the other 3 teams, you seed them 1-3 and then its averaged out after that. Seems to be some shinnanagans are going on in 5A and it could have been over ruled I would think

They beat possibly the weakest 1 seed in AA history. That wasn't an upset and Hawley should have expected to win that game...

Exactly like i said its minor, but I was really meaning to say that I dont think some teams and coaches do well well and others don't under adversity. And that was what I saw last year against osakis. Pillager had some high level recruits, but osakis has experience in big games in section 6 and...

As far as the Pillager comment goes ill say this. I have seen them play a few times in the past 4 seasons. Kids usually take on a form of their head coach and that team is no exception... They on kickoffs pump their helmets and yell KILL - KILL - KILL , now who really cares but in todays...

Frazee quite possibly the weakest AA team to ever earn a #1 seed. They lost to Hawley yesterday and imho it wasn't an upset. Frazee played a 1A schedule and was handled by a pair of 1A schools. Not surprising they lost the 1st game against a school who played in class AA all season

6A is the only class that makes any sense whatsoever in MN high school football. The MSHSL should fix football for the other 330 teams before messing with 6A more. The lower clases have teams playing 4 games in 15 days. Leaves little time for game planning, practice or recovery for the athletes

The investment they spend on baseball and basketball except for a select few is laughable when you take into account that money is going to land 0 scholarship and could be put towards tuition... But logic is hard to come by these days

I think adding a game kids would sign up to be there. Just adding a week of practice may get kids to not go out... Id like to know why every sport is ok with taking time from football, and we regulate that football cant do the same... Baseball in MN has gotten completely out of hand. Northern...

I'm not arguing about what the MSHSL says the adjusted numbers are. I did ask where they get those numbers now. There is no way to know what they are now, there really wasn't before. I know of a few schools hosting pizza parties to fill out the free and reduced paperwork to flub enrolment...
