Didn't see any of the two exhibition games but looking at box scores it looks like Cade was far and away our best player in those 2 games scoring 28 and 26 points while shooting a really high percentage from both 2 and 3. For those that did see the games how do you think his game will translate...

There is definitely less external pressure here then the more football crazed areas. But that still doesn't mean anyone is ok with or not bothered by the loss.

Well said. I noted in another thread that the Iowa game was one of the first times this year where Drake has played like a freshman. To a certain degree we have been spoiled by how polished he has looked considering how little actual experience he has.

I'm honestly not positive Athan is a better QB now that Drake is. Put Drake on Rutgers with their offense, WR and OC and I don't think it is crazy to think that he would be better at running that offense then Athan is.

Drake has had some struggles, especially on the road, but he is light years ahead of where Athan was in 2023. Yesterday sucked, losing to Iowa always sucks, but as much as it sucked the season isn't over and this team can still finish with a solid record.

I feel like Smith and Baranowski are the most likely leaders on D. Drake will be that guy on offense eventually but isn't there yet and on that side of the ball I really don't know who the leaders are.

He had around 175 rushing/receiving yards against Buffalo and his receiving against Purdue was one of the few things working against Purdue along with the Nebraska game. So he has been big in 3 games this year....but obviously 3 out of 8 games is not a good percentage at all. Very frustrating...
