What grade would you give the Timberwolves 2025 draft?

Or they thought the holes wouldn't be filled by a second rounder on a team that just added three first rounds in the last two drafts (Dilly, Shannon, and Berringer).

He'd be a nice fit on the team. The guy I really like is Banton. He is like a poor man's Shaun Livingston and if Dilly develops, he could definitely play off the ball.

All Things 2025 Minnesota Timberwolves Off-Season Thread

I actually think it makes things kind of interesting and will result in fewer super teams. The second apron makes it really difficult to build super teams and the large max contracts I think properly pay the very best players while also making it more difficult to build around them. I think it...

    Wolves Summer League

If he can rebound and dunk, he looks like he can play. The blocks were obviously nice, but he is really long and all over the place on defense. Dillingham looked like he was pressing. I have faith but go get Brogdon, Banton or Paul.

Still No Statement from Ben Johnson

What? I thought you said I was patting myself on the back for predicting he wasn't going to be good. Now you're pivoting to this nonsense. As I said in my initial post, I wish the guy would have done the right thing and just said something on the way out the door. There are some folks who have...

I never claimed to be an intellectual. I would never claim to be an intellectual. I called a poster who catfishes as a young guy who openly claims to be trolling for old men online "gay". You disagree?

Still No Statement from Ben Johnson

It's not a pat on my back. It was common sense for anyone who followed college sports. I never intended to make it sound like it was a brilliant prognostication to know a guy who couldn't get a job at Montana State wasn't qualified to coach in the Big 10. Essentially, it was everyone on planet...

P.J. Fleck gets a new contract extension—pending approval from Board of Regents—keeping him under contract until 2030.

If you're a college sports fan, it seems like your coach is either always about to get canned or about to leave for greener pastures.

A lot of stadiums are adding amenities because attendance is lower (across the board). The theory is that you can make more money from the people who are going to the games. Most likely, the folks who would would have been filling in the student sections weren't going to use the amenities even...

You bring up my job a lot. It's weird. It clearly intimidates you. You're not smart enough to realize how dumb your joke is. Like, it's not funny and also highlights your stupidity. Johnson wasn't deserving. He had an awful resume and he was turned down by mid-major jobs prior to being hired...

Yep, it's an awesome feeling to take a flier on some rookie in 5th round and get production out of them.

2027 QB Furian Inferrera has Flipped his Commitment from Boston College to Minnesota!

I'd imagine most of the GPAs at fake schools are pretty high. That said, I wasn't calling the kid stupid, just pointing out that he went to one of those BS schools. It doesn't even matter anymore, I don't think there needs to be any connection between being a student and an athlete anymore.

    Fleck's Good Wins at Minnesota

If 11 is our peak, the averages of any other 4 years, by definition, will be less than our peak season. Going from 6 wins to 8 wins is a short trend up. Last year was also higher than the average of our previous 4 seasons (8>7.8). The evidence is just math.

Another zinger. Yep and for the 1000th time, no one is arguing he is contractually obligated to do so. There are things in the world that you should or should not do despite contractual obligations - in fact - almost all of the things in life you should or should not do are not bound by...

Why? You are not contractually obligated to.

I assume you wipe your butt, are polite to waitresses, and hold the door for the elderly despite not having any contractual obligation to do so?

Because most people who are handed things they didn't earn aren't appreciative. Entitlement breeds contempt.
