    It’s national interviews like this that are so important to a program like Minnesota. I don’t recall Ben getting interviewed by any national sports shows when he was hired… I hope it helps that Nico‘s kind of a hot name coming off this past season.

    I remember seeing an interview with Matt Painter where he said that the reason they were able to keep Zach Eden is they didn’t have to pay him NIL because of his Canadian citizenship and visa status. I don’t know if schools are finding a way around that now… But it wouldn’t surprise me.

    Shooter: Gophers' NIL budget this season —lowest in the Big Ten — was in the $700,000 range, of which Dawson Garcia got $500,000.

    You could rag on the fact that he did NOTHIG to inspire any sense of enthusiasm for the program since the day he was hired. Seems like a nice guy, but incredibly boring. People can hate on PJ as much as they want but he is CONSTANTLY selling the program with public appearances, gimmicks...
